What's for dinner?


We are having people for dinner.

Not curried, just as guests.  They'll be allowed to go home afterwards.

On the menu -
Spiced blinis with lime pickle
Mulligatawny soup
Beef dhansak, Bombay potatoes, pineapple and tomato chutney, cucumber raita, rice and naan
Choice of spiced peaches or chocolate bread and butter pudding.  Or both.  (Not very Indian, but I don't do the desserts.)

I like curry.  (At the top of the pic is my box of spices.)
